Positions Available :

Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Work with development teams and product managers to idealize software solutions
  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Write effective APIs
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
  • Share existing and acquired skills with team members through formal and informal mentoring.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of proven experience as a full-stack developer or in a similar role;
  • Equivalent to either a bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science or an approved related field;
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, jQuery);
  • Familiar with common stacks;
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js, Angular, React, Node.js);
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MongoDB), web servers (e.g. NGINX) and UI/UX design;
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, Cloud services, container, RHEL, and CLI is an added advantage;
  • Familiar with financial and capital markets and instruments, an added advantage;
  • Operational experience in Financial Products / Services / Banking, an added advantage;
  • Independent, tactful, initiative and high level of integrity and

Client Engagement Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outbound calls to promote Affin Hwang AM’s product & services to existing clients.
  • Adopting assertive approach on client prospecting, lead generation & appointment setup for Client Relationship Executive & Business Partners.
  • Perform periodic service calls to existing clients such as providing fund updates, campaign announcement, assist on system
    related issues or gathering client’s feedback.
  • Facilitate cross-functional business information flow.
  • Continuously strive to identify process improvement within job function to deliver WOW experience to customers.
  • Adherence to compliance & business processes.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Economic, Sales, Finance or equivalent;
  • Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in contact center environment;
  • A team player, proactive and self-starter;
  • Multi-lingual. good oral & written communication and presentation skills;
  • Great interpersonal skills and
  • Ability to multi-task i.e juggling calls, email, chat, whatsapp reply.

Manager / Executive, Personal Wealth Business

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • To manage clients investment portfolio;
  • To source and generate new business leads to increase market share;
  • To achieve set Key Performance Standard;
  • To identify & tailor investment products/solutions to meet new/existing clients’ financial needs;
  • To proactively participate in sales campaigns to achieve set objective;
  • To practice ethical selling & adhere to set compliance standard;
  • To support all marketing activities, promote sales and distribution of investment products and services and
  • To meet/exceed customer expectations through delivery of high quality after-sales service.

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognised Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or its equivalent
  • Preferably with working experience in related industry
  • A team player, proactive, self-starter & result orientated and
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Portfolio Manager, Equity

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • To manage discretionary clients and unit trust portfolios so that the portfolios outperform their respective benchmarks within the constraints of their investment mandates;
  • To conduct company visits, research and analysis on prospective and current investments;
  • To assist the team in formulating an overall strategy and macroeconomic outlook and
  • To service client as and when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in investment or asset management company
  • Strong communication skills and
  • Proven track record of generating performance returns.

Client Portfolio Manager (JB and Ipoh)

(To be based in Johor Bahru and Ipoh)

Responsibilities:

  • To provide total investment solutions to the high net worth individuals, corporations and institutions client in the region and
  • Ability to develop and generate new business leads for the regions with the aim to increase market share and successfully negotiate deals and manage allocated expense budget independently.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in investment management including CPM experience;
  • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Possess a strong work ethic, be willing and able to travel extensively domestically and be very detail-oriented and
  • Proven ability to build and manage strong working relationships both internally and externally is essential.

Secretary

(Yearly Renewal Contract, to be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • Assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office;
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports and documents;
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements;
  • Assist colleagues by supporting them with planning and distributing information and
  • Be the point of reference for all queries, requests or issues and will be integral part of the Company’s workforce.

Requirements:

  • Min. a Diploma holder;
  • Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant;
  • Familiarity with office organization;
  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Integrity and professionalism and
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
