Positions Available :

Executive, Corporate and Community Relations

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist and support the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies and sponsorship plans in alignment the CSR framework and focus areas.
  • Ensure consistent application, compliance with and adherence to the company’s corporate identity (CI) guidelines.
  • Assist and support execution of the overall company brand and other related strategies to improve (both internal and external) stakeholder experiences with the brand.
  • Assist and support the company’s events and special projects initiatives as and when required.
  • Assist and support communication and engagement initiatives for the overall internal corporate activities.
  • Assist and support the development of written materials (i.e. official letters, speeches, presentations, messages, etc.).
  • Assist and support the management of relevant agency as well as vendor relationships and monitor their results and
  • General assistance and administrative support for the department.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree and / or professional qualification in a relevant discipline (preferably in Mass Communications, Marketing, or equivalent);
  • Minimum one year experience in relevant field and / scope of work;
  • Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to converse and write in Mandarin will be an additional advantage;
  • Knowledge and application of design fundamentals and creative tools (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Video editing) is not a requirement but will be an added advantage;
  • Writing and editorial skills, with the ability to write for a variety of audience and communication medium as well as strong understanding of current social and digital media concepts, strategies and best practices will be an added advantage;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different levels of stakeholders;

Executive/Manager, Personal Wealth Business

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur/Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

  • To manage clients investment portfolio;
  • To source and generate new business leads to increase market share;
  • To achieve set Key Performance Standard;
  • To identify & tailor investment products/solutions to meet new/existing clients’ financial needs;
  • To proactively participate in sales campaigns to achieve set objective;
  • To practice ethical selling & adhere to set compliance standard;
  • To support all marketing activities, promote sales and distribution of investment products and services and
  • To meet/exceed customer expectations through delivery of high quality after-sales service.

Requirements:

  • Possess a recognised Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or its equivalent
  • Preferably with working experience in related industry
  • A team player, proactive, self-starter & result orientated and
  • Good communication and presentation skills

Team Manager, Personal Wealth Business

(To be based in Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:

  • To lead & manage a sales team to achieve set Team Key Performance Standard;
  • To provide sales direction and equip team members with good selling skills, client relationship building skills;
  • To initiate & identify events to promote company’s range of product offerings via exclusive talks, roadshows, investment seminars, corporate presentations;
  • To source & establish key referrors via networking to generate new business leads for team members to close sales & increase market share;
  • To guide team members to conduct regular reviews to manage clients’ investment portfolio;
  • To instill team members with good discipline and values in their daily work;
  • To set a positive working environment & to lead by example;
  • To ensure team members practise ethical selling and adhere to set compliance standards;
  • To proactively drive sales campaigns to meet set objectives;

Requirements

Executive/Senior Executive, Fund Operations

Job descriptions:

  • Administer and ensure the daily Unit Trust’s operation runs smoothly;
  • Reconcile daily cash/NAV position;
  • Prepare the quarterly report, interim report and annual report of unit trust funds in accordance with the regulatory requirements;
  • Handle all taxes matters for unit trust unit and
  • Review departmental process for better efficiency.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Min. one (1) year of experience in the wealth and asset management industry at an established financial institution would be an added advantage;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of stakeholders and employees;
  • Strong cultural sensitivity to manage relationships with people from diverse cultures;
  • Ability to contribute think innovatively and embrace change and
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

Product Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Work on new product development, sourcing of product, pitching of new product ideas and evaluating product propositions;
  • Preparation of product term sheet/Product Detail Paper, investment strategy & investment for offering documents;
  • Supporting Fund Submission team in drafting of offering documents;
  • Conducting due diligence exercise on external parties (external investment managers/ product providers);
  • Supporting Fund Submission team in submission process;
  • Preparation of pre-launch marketing material (e.g pitch books, training slides and product kits for distributors);
  • Assisting in training and product pitching;
  • Managing and driving the growth of the core existing fund portfolios;
  • To provide training of funds and propositions to sales teams on a regular basis;
  • To assist in marketing and pitching to partners and distributors and be involved in sales activities where necessary;
  • Work with fund managers and the investment team on themes, ideas, strategies employed for respective funds;
  • Identify product and sales trends domestically and regionally;
  • Conducting peer analysis and review with the objective to identify factors for relative outperformance or underperformance
  • Analyze and consolidate views of the investment team members across asset classes and sectors in order to provide and drive investment recommendations and support sales
  • Providing updates on developments in markets;
  • Generate new ideas upon identifying gaps within the existing portfolio of funds;
  • Providing support and answers to sales queries on product features and technical matters;
  • Maintaining liaison with 3rd party fund data providers (e.g. Lipper, Bloomberg, etc.);
  • Project management in resolving ad-hoc issues concerning existing funds ( i.e mispricing issues, redemption issues, change in investment objective etc) and
  • Liaising with investments, ops and finance to support / assist completion of trades on relevant funds / structured products

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree and/or professional qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Min. two (2) or more years of experience in the wealth and asset management industry at an established financial institution;
  • Possess outstanding analytical and mathematical abilities;
  • Possess strong market knowledge and innovative in product development;
  • Possess good presentation skills;
  • Enjoy working collaboratively across the organization in a team environment;
